Emily is currently a member of AEA and recently played Hermia in an interactive/immersive production of Alterra Production’s A Midsummer Gala at the Glen Foerd Mansion in Philadelphia (Aug 2021). Emily made her professional acting debut doing physical theater with hood work in 2014 with The Cirkus Theatre Project at UNCSA (in collaboration with Cirque du Soleil). Following graduation in 2016, she has continued to perform physical theater in hood at venues like Lincoln Center.
While starting primarily as a dancer in NYC, Emily managed to land the lead role in the short film, Victoria by Elijah Rodriguez in 2017 and since then has both served as an actor/dancer for Grace Kelly’s music video Yada Yada (2021). Other notable credits include: Roller Dynasty (2018) by Sprout Works at the Medicine Show Theatre Ensemble, The Little Prince (2018) with Flint Rep, and the virtual immersive theater production of THICKETT QUEST.
Emily has been honored to study Linklater Technique under Mary Irwin as well as Suzuki & Viewpoints under SITI Company’s Summer at Skidmore program, and Scene Study with Brett Haley. You can catch Emily playing “Meanie No.2” in the upcoming Tier 5 Theatre Company’s virtual production of “Fairy Tales from Home” (Dec 2021).
